This year there will be a particular focus on cardiovascular disease prevention, metabolic health, medicines management and admissions avoidance. This event will explore how we are already able to collectively turn the ambitions of the NHS 10-Year Plan into reality. Through a series of engaging sessions, you’ll gain practical insight into how the Three Major Shifts – From Hospital to Community, Analogue to Digital, and Sickness to Prevention – can be implemented efficiently and at scale. 

There will be a series of lectures from the ECLIPSE clinical leadership team, including NHS directors of primary care, national metabolic health leads and regional leads for prescribing, IG, primary care and genomics: 

• How to activate your regional implementation centre for delivery and oversight of your Neighbourhood Delivery programmes

• Tackling the obesity and metabolic crisis. ECLIPSE has a suite of solutions that allow your ICB to become a centre of excellence

• Tackling Health Inequalities: Five examples of where the NHS is failing and how this can be addressed through virtual support hubs. Demonstration of its use for GLP-1 prescribing, asthma support, vaccinations, type 2 diabetes, metabolic health.

• Using AI support tools responsibly and why they are essential for NHS survival. Can you really create a centre of excellence for diabetes that is both the best performing and cheapest in the country?

• The importance of cost-effective care: demonstration of how ICBs can effortlessly save over £5million per year through automated structured medication reviews whilst reducing GP workload

• Why automated risk stratification can transform end of life care and prevent burden on emergency care services (GRACE)

We’ll also delve into the Five Technological Bets - including data, AI, genomics, and wearables - showing how they’re already shaping the future of medicines optimisation and patient safety.
